I can barely contain myself!
Just Breathe, the prequel novella to the Breathe Trilogy, will be released on Friday, 2nd May 2025.
The action was kicking off too far into the first novel, but I also felt that everything I’d have to cut out was valuable to the overall story. The novella was born. This covers some antagonistic interactions the night before the main event, as well as laying down backstory and introducing the characters.
Michael – Always in detention, and the wrong place at the wrong time.
Bradley – Always in control, and always gets what he wants.
Libby – Always trying to be what others want her to be; she’s forgotten who she is.
Bradley has tried to shield Libby since last Summer, and not just from her alleged attacker. Libby retreated into herself and threw herself into school work instead of processing everything. She can’t know what she doesn’t see. And Michael? He sees everything.
Just Breathe leads into a New Adult, Second Chance Romance Trilogy. Whilst this isn’t technically “Dark Romance” it definitely does have dark themes and contains scenes of violence and SA. Reader’s discretion is advised, and I will post a full list of triggers before publication.
I’ve been working on this story (along with many others) for over a decade, I’m so happy to finally share them.
